MEET THE FOUNDER
Marina Shterenberg: Artist. Educator. Visionary with
Paint-Stained Fingers.
With over 25 years of experience, Marina holds an MFA from San Francisco State University and has taught everywhere from the SF Art Institute to Brookhaven College. She’s a recipient of major arts fellowships and grants, but her proudest achievements?
Her students—and probably Sparky.

For over 15 years, Ktchn28 has been a cozy, quirky, and wildly creative hub for visual art education. Formerly known as Cosmic Container, we’ve helped children, teens, and adults find their voice through paint, pencil, clay—and the occasional glitter explosion.
We believe art isn’t just a skill. It’s a language, a journey, and sometimes, a glorious mess.
